Wheaton Floral has served the local Wheaton community for decades, built on a love for flowers and a commitment to quality. As part of the Trudy’s Flowers family, we carry forward a legacy that began in Naperville over 60 years ago — combining deep local roots with the resources and reach of one of the western suburbs’ most trusted floral groups.
1963 – Where it all began
Trudy’s Flowers opened its doors in downtown Naperville on October 28, 1963, becoming one of the area’s earliest local florists and laying the foundation for the family of flower shops it would one day support.
1997 – NEW OWNERSHIP, SAME COMMITMENT
Julie Bau, a Naperville native with formal training in Eastern and Western floral design, purchased Trudy’s Flowers and carried its legacy forward, modernizing operations while staying true to quality and personal service.
2017 – 2025 – GROWING THE FAMILY
Trudy’s Flowers expanded across the western suburbs, acquiring Bouqbox in Burr Ridge (2017), Wildflower Florist in Naperville (2022), Flowers of Lisle (2023), and Florals by Steen, reaching into Homer Glen and Orland Park (2025) — bringing Wheaton Floral into a growing network of community-rooted shops.
2026 – SERVING YOU ONLINE
Trudy’s Flowers officially launched dedicated online sites for each of its shops — including Wheaton Floral — giving our customers a seamless way to shop and connect with us, wherever they are.
